CM teams with DME Alliance to Expand cGMP Manufacturing

DME Alliance has been selected to design an expansion of manufacturing space for a global manufacturer of components for injectable drug delivery. The project will provide new cGMP compliant manufacturing space, new gowning & locker area, and upgrades to central utilities. DME Alliance's design scope includes HVAC piping distribution, central plant utility piping, process utility piping, plumbing, fire protection, and power systems design.

Global Biopharm turns to DME for Process Remediation

DME Alliance has been selected to execute a technology assessment and cGMP gap analysis of cell culture operations at a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturer's production facility, followed by remediation of process systems to improve safety, efficiency and reliability, and to reduce the risk of contamination. The scope of the project includes all equipment and procedures associated with the manufacturing process, including production, CIP and SIP operations associated with cell culture, media/buffer feed, perfusion, recovery (TFF, chromatography), and aseptic transfers using single use disposables technology.

DME Alliance Selected to Design Central Chiller Plant

DME Alliance is engineering a central chilled water system that can be constructed in phases to accommodate ongoing operations and ultimately support all of the cooling requirements of a GMP manufacturing facility. The chilled water plant will incorporate two 600 ton chillers and associated chilled water and condenser water pumps. Two cooling towers will be installed on the roof above the chiller plant and the support structure will be incorporated into the building structure.

"Facilities of the Future" Conference to Host DME Alliance Exhibit

DME Alliance will be exhibiting at the next part of ISPE's "Facilities of the Future" Conference series, Lessons from 483s: Enhancing Efficiency, Quality and cGMP Compliance, will be held on 27-28 February – Tampa, Florida. This event will feature a Keynote Session and 3 educational tracks: Biotech, Oral Solid Dosage, and Process Validation. ASME BPE Participation for Professional Engineer PDH

ASME BPE is the international consensus standard for hygienic equipment design. DME Alliance is proud to support the development of the BPE standard through active participation in the subcommittee leadership and conference events. ASME BPE technical committee meetings are open to the public, free to attend, and members can satisfy Registered Professional Engineer (RPE) requirements for Professional Development Hours (PDH). Dates and locations for upcoming meetings are as follows:
