Facility Design
DME Alliance specializes in the design of facilities for life sciences and other advanced technology sectors. This focus brings exceptional expertise and experience to "tech-heavy" projects in R&D, laboratory and manufacturing space. Company capabilities are a particularly good fit for challenging expansion and renovation projects in legacy facilities. Powerful Revit® 3D CADD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools are used to enhance design visualization and improve the quality of engineering deliverables. Core capabilities in process systems design, clean room design, HVAC and process utilities engineering provide a solid foundation for the development of facility designs that are reliable, efficient and safe.
In many cases facility design projects result from opportunities identified in prior DME Alliance strategic planning, engineering assessments or feasibility studies. Projects are typically implemented in a phased approach starting with a conceptual design, which in process facilities is primarily focused on identifying and sizing the equipment, utilities and space that will be required to implement the process. From the conceptual design phase, basic or preliminary engineering may be executed to further refine the concept, followed by detailed design work to produce sealed engineering drawings, procurement and and construction specifications. DME Alliance is uniquely qualified and capable of developing process facility designs from concept through detailed design, and can provide construction administration, commissioning and validation services to support the entire project life cycle.
